Are you a student who passionate about mental health research? Present your work at the ARMS Fall Symposium!
The McMaster initiative for Advanced Research on Mental Health and Society (ARMS) invites graduate and undergraduate students to present their work at the 2021 Fall Symposium, which will take place virtually on October 18, 2021. ARMS is an initiative that takes a unique interdisciplinary approach to research mental health from a social sciences perspective. The goal of ARMS is to prioritize a social science perspective in the effort to address the burden of mental health problems.
Please submit an extended abstract (maximum 250 words, not including title and authors) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please indicate 1) poster title 2)author names/affiliations and 3) the most applicable symposium topic areas. Deadline extended: Abstracts are now due on October 1 2021. Posters are invited on the following topic areas:
- Child health, development and resiliency
- Health inequities across the life course
- Disability and health inequities
- Environmental health equity
- Service equity/system navigation
- Social relations/informal supports
- Impacting policy
- Mental health
